We believe that the Bible, was originally written by holy men of God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. It does not only speak of salvation, but also of history, science and philosophy, and it is the basis of authority for the believer of faith and practice. (Psalm 19:7-11)
God – We believe in the one and only Father God, Holy Son and Spirit, who exists as three ‘persons’ that is co-equal in power and glory. (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
The Father – God is the Father of all believers who have come to accept the saving knowledge of His Anointed One. (John 17)
The Son – Jesus Christ lived a sinless life and had a miraculous ministry on Earth. (John 3:1-2) He died on the cross as an atonement of sin for mankind, and it became the redemption and ultimate triumph over Satan. (Hebrews 7:25)
The Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit inspires holy men of old to speak the Word of God (John 16:7-15), draws men to Christ for salvation, guides (Romans 8:14) and intercedes for believers (Romans 8:26).
Man – was originally created by God in his image, but by disobedience to his creator, he incurred both physical and spiritual death; the entire human race was plunged into sin. (Romans 6:23) By faith in Christ alone, man can be saved and restored. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Salvation – is both initiated by God’s calling and received by man’s choice. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the condition of salvation (Acts 16:31). Faith involves repentance (Luke 24:47), having a change of mind towards sin (particularly the sin of rejecting Christ), and the Savior. Salvation should lead to good works (Ephesians 2:10 1, John 3:24) and is for all believers (1 John 5:13).
The Church – is the Body of Christ and is a spiritual organism made up of believers. It was purchased with the blood of Christ, and its mission is to bear to the ends of the earth a spiritual-filled testimony to the judgement of God against sin and the salvation of sinners who repent sincerely. (Matthew 16:17-18 28:18-20, Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:19-22, Colossians 1:18)
The Local Church – is a group of believers organized for the purposes of edification (through preaching, teaching and fellowship) (Ephesians 4:11-13) and evangelism. (2 Corinthians 5:18-21)
